I am reaching out to you to confirm our strong commitment to you during the ongoing coronavirus situation. While this remains a developing situation, United Mail facilities continue to operate on a relatively normal basis. We are here for you.
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees, service partners and communities continues to be our number one commitment. At the same time, we recognize that the role our industry plays in the United States is more essential now than it has ever been. The work you entrust with United Mail is essential to keeping our families safe, our communities strong, and our economy humming.
Our team is fortunate to be deeply engaged with many of you in providing the communication and information that is vital to the wellbeing of your customers and your organization. We share your commitment to excellence.
That is why we are operating our facilities with full production capacity to meet your needs while keeping our critical teams safe. Like many of you, we have deployed remote working and work-from-home for many of our team members. For those in critical positions in our production facilities in Louisville and Cincinnati, we have taken extensive precautions to keep workers properly distanced, cleaning equipment and workspaces, ensuring lunch areas and breakrooms are properly organized, and allowing our vulnerable team members to job share and work remote. After nearly three weeks, it’s working well. We are proud to report all mail dates were met with NO interruption in service.
Our human resources team is working round the clock to ensure our employees are safe and our teams have the latest information from federal, state and local public health officials. We are proud and thankful for the people we have leading our internal coronavirus response team. Everyone has stepped up in ways that continue to marvel me. I’m very grateful to work with this group of dedicated and smart professionals.
As you and your teams face the reality of this uncertain time, please rest assured, United Mail is an essential business and we are here for you. You have the benefit of working with an experienced team of professionals from your Account Executive to your Account Manager and all the folks at United Mail who make sure your work is produced correctly.
